A postdoc position within the European Union-funded TMR network NanoSNOM is available at the Institute for Experimental Physics in Graz / Austria. The research will focus on the optical near-field properties of nanoscale metal systems. Both experimental and theoretical physicists with a strong background in electromagnetism/(near-field) optics or scanning probe microscopy are called on to apply. Our labs are equipped with state-of-the-art electron beam lithography for nanoscale sample production and near-field optical microscopy.

The position is for one year (renewable to 2 years) with a salary of approx.330.000 Austrian Schillings net per year.
