Polymer Physics (Post-Doc)
The Institute of Experimental Physics at the Ulm University has an open temporary
Post-Doc-Position (Full time)
in the field of polymer physics.
The successful applicant should have a university doctorate or PhD in the field of polymer physics. He/she is expected to collaborate with researchers in life science doing research on the cytoskeleton and on cell motility. The institute is equipped with scanning probe microscopes, confocal microscopes and optical spectroscopy. Access to electron microscopes and to x-ray machines is possible. The institute of experimental pyhsics expects the successful applicant to take a lead in the polymer physics research.
The salary for the position is according to TV-L Level E13. The successful applicant is required to do research and teaching (120 contact hours per year).
The successful applicant may pursue work towards her/his Habilitation.
