Science

The Experimental Physics Group investigates properties of novel polymers by x-ray.

We currently investigate, among other systems, novel polypropene samples.

Additionally we use Scanning Force Microscopy, Scanning Nearfield Optical Microscopy, and Raman/Brillouin Spectroscopy  for characterization.

We are working on the synthesis of novel silane derived molecules to improve µ-contact printing. These molecules also help to functionalize AFM tips. We have collaborations with polymer producing companies. For inquiries please mail to Othmar Marti.
